COURSES
I delivered over 150 courses on dozens of subjects at Rochester Institute of Technology, Roberts Wesleyan College, and American University in Kosovo.
Teaching began with art courses to fine art evening students, where students included professional artists and faculty-- some hoping to apply computer design to their existing work.
Computer graphics courses were needed as personal computers took off, so I developed courses and programs to meet changes. This continued into Web design with Flash and HTML, InDesign layout and typography, vector and raster design and illustration.
Team-teaching included an experimental program for provisionally-accepted freshmen.
I advised students and determined transfer credit for several programs at RIT, and served on the screening committee for a multidisciplinary degree program in its infancy. We ran one of the early distance learning programs.
During 2007-10, I taught overseas at the American University in Kosovo (RIT), helping expand a new concentration in media and visual communications.
So... .I don't sound like much fun, do I.
